For 15 years, Bill Vanderbilt ’88 served Â鶹ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø as the vice president for admissions. In 2021, he was appointed vice president for institutional partnerships and senior advisor. In this role, he serves as a college ambassador focusing on strategic outreach including community, government and corporate partnerships along with assisting the president with special projects.
Before coming to Hope, Bill was a consulting director and project manager for a variety of corporations including Perot Systems/Solutions Consulting, Prince Corporation and Andersen Consulting.

While a student at Hope, Bill was a member of the men’s basketball and football teams and was a captain of both during his senior year.
Outside the College
Bill and his wife, Abby VanDuyne ’91 Vanderbilt, have five children and currently attend Central Wesleyan Church. Bill is a past board member of Camp Sunshine, Cross Cultural Ministries and All Families Belong.
