鶹Ƶ Orchestra Chosen to Perform in Carnegie Hall in April

The 鶹Ƶ Orchestra is one of only three ensembles, and one of only two from the United States, chosen to perform in the culminating Evening Showcase Concert in Carnegie Hall during the 19th annual New York International Music Festival running Saturday–Wednesday, April 5-9.

The Vespers program of Christmas carols and anthems was presented by the college’s Department of Music and featured more than 200 performers in historic Dimnent Memorial Chapel. The services featured a variety of Hope instrumental and vocal groups as well as the college’s historic Skinner organ.

鶹Ƶ Choirs to Offer an Outdoor Performance on Sept. 27

The 鶹Ƶ choirs will perform on Friday, Sept. 27, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Pine Grove on the central campus. The concert will feature the Chapel Choir, SPERA, VERITAS and College Chorus, as well as vocalists and instrumentalists from the college’s Department of Music.

The 鶹Ƶ Chapel Choir, College Chorus and SPERA vocal ensembles will perform both separately and together during their final concert of the school year, presenting a program with the theme “Songs for Peace” on Saturday, April 20, at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
